Default exhaust piping. forced induction

First off... what is the diameter on the stock exhaust piping?

What size piping is going to be needed for forced induction?

What size would be best for all motor?

heres some references with a similar size engine:
caveliers have 2.2 and 2.4l size engines. stock piping is 1.75"

best for all motor is 2.25"-2.5"

best for boost is 3"

who has gotten custom exhausts bent up for them and what size pipe did you use.

im assuming that the correct pipe size is going to be very close to the examples i gave.

im guessing noone knows?

if your planning on going F/I then do not get a exhaust system it will be a waste of money. F/I requires much larger exhaust piping to be effiecient. so until the questiosn get answered in my above post anyone thats going to go F/I should not be getting exhaust systems.

someone should at least go measure there pipe to check the size of that AT LEAST :D

2.5 is plenty big for FI piping if you arent gonna boost more then 9-10 pounds. thats dyno experience, not internet knowledge.

I am currently building a 2.5" system for the Tc, I will have dyno figures when it is complete. When we are finished with the turbo system we will build a 3" system also. All of which will be for sale after testing is completed. If the 2.5" does not work as planned we might test a 2.25" to see if there is a difference. All of which will be availabel on www.scionspeed.com.

Hold your horses guy! The site will be up as soon as we have something for the TC to sell. We're still in the testing stages for our parts. Actually it may be up as soon as Sept 10. I will also let everyone know when its up.
