I'm honestly really confused. Sure, the FARTs are ignorant...but I still don't understand their purpose. Why don't they want Toyota to race in NASCAR? Toyota has been racing in the Craftsman Truck Series for a while, right? Shouldn't they be glad more than 3 car manufacturers are competing? Just look at LeMans. It's the most prestigious race in the world because manufacturers from all over the world want to annihilate each other in it. But I guess what I really want to know is...why don't they want Toyota to compete?

 

i'm guessing because they're scared... and they're haters.

Anyways, nascar is so much more than going in circles. It's pretty exciting.

 

Wait, so they don't want Toyota to compete because that would be too much competition? So they want to turn down the heat on Nascar...right...how about just giving them all some uber-restrictor plates so all their engines are 500cc? Why have a competition that's not...competititve?

Ooh, another grand idea! They can ban Ford and Dodge. That way ONLY Chevy can race. Because "what's good for GM is good for America."

I'm still seriously confused.

 

I sort of wonder if the whole thing is reverse psychology. Think about it. This is the best way for someone to encourage Toyota fans to follow NASCAR next year.

wow, and i thought only the chinese hate the japs. As a chinese myself, i understand the hate toward japs after wwII. I remember seeing a sign "Sony cause cancer!" in U.S. history book.
I am still seeing a lot hate toward japanese auto makers on chinese message boards, but most of those chinese are too poor to ever owning a car. so why they even care posting? LOL

i guess the FART people feel patriotic by hating japanese imports. What is done is done, let it go and move on.

 

I think those rednecks think Toyota hurts the American economy due to people purchasing Toyotas instead of GMs, Fords, and Dodges. The problem is GM, Ford, and Dodge can't or won't make a product as high quality as Toyota. If the rednecks are so upset about Toyota making better cars, perhaps they should direct their hate towards GM, Ford, and Dodge for not being competitive enough with Toyota. If GM, Ford, and Dodge would just make better cars then maybe our economy would be better.

Hmm...wonder if they understand what a global economy is? Wait, they probably weren't aware there was a globe until Toyota entered Nascar and they tried to figure out where Toyota is from.
