Default Faulty driver's side seat adjustment?

Don't know if anyone's noticed or it's it specific to my car or situation. I drive my car on the job, drive a lot, and get in and out of the car many times a day. I'm tall and have to have the front seat tilt all the way up to drive comfortably. However, after a day of driving and getting in and out, I've found that the front of the seat has moved down into it's lowest position. I find myself cranking the circular adjustment for it at least twice a day if not more to keep the tilt up.

Anyone else having this problem? I'm a big guy, about 220, but I wouldn't think that I should have to constantly readjust the tilt so often unless something is wrong somewhere.

I have not noticed this problem. I will watch the next few times I enter the car. Sometimes my lower back hurts so last year I purchased a great item which allows me to "pump" the lower back section. Not really relevant to your question but thought I would throw in.....

That doesnt sound right. You might want to have it looked at by your dealership. Try cranking it all the way up and then lean on it with all your weight and see if the **** spins. There could be a stripped gear or something.

I've noticed this too. I keep mine cranked all the way up and every so often I have to turn the dial to get it back to the position I had it.

Sounds like they keep finding more and more problems with the tc. I hope Scion fixes all those little bugs soon. The car looks so good, I'd hate to see it fade because of bugs. Question.... What do tc owners think of the Pontiac G6? I keep seeing commercials for it. It has a glass roof too.

I tend to hate everything made by pontiac. Somewhow they always look dated when seen on the road.

Yeah, I'm lucky that I've missed out on the major problems (tranny, sunroof and hatch rattles) since I was an early adopter, but I think the QC guy for the interior the day my car was built must have been drunk. Broken shift boot, oscillating air vents, fabric on the seatback seperating, and now this. Arg.

Really? I haven't experienced the problem you have. I will test it out today. BTW, I'm about 155-160 lbs. so my results may be different.

The G6 is overpriced.... price it with the glass roof and some alloy wheels (neither which are standard).
