It does have the new steering wheel. but it doesnt work with the HU so i am most definitely going to get the '06 HU. they messed up for sure. the tires are yokohama which i think is new for '06 but not sure. as for the plates the dealer has plates. u choose the style and pay for title and registration on the spot. very efficient. ill take more pix
broadway toyota still has my deposit and up until thursday/friday, they said none were coming in and had no word whatsoever on the 06s. Even coming from the sales manager Chris.[/code]

It is out, I just got a call from the dealership in California for an 06 tc. I went to the dealership talked with one of the dealers and they said yes they had tC in the port. I asked if I could get a black one and yup got that too.

The first batch of 2006 tCs were released following the May18th Scion delaer allocation. Most dealers that earned them then are getting them now thru the next week. The i-Pod radio is a stereo OPTION at $260 extra dollars. The standard headunit is still the norm NOT the i-Pod model.
As far as backward compatability no info has been given so I will dig into it further. The 2006 models are $200 more so buying an 05 is not a bad thing.
Congrats on the 06 model. Enjoy and welcome to the Scion family.
