Flint Mica Cult

1 page ago lordoth? I looked at 277 and 276 and didn't see a pic of your anzo tails
Does anyone have any pics of tint overlays on the anzo's? TYC's don't go well with the flint mica, but when they are smoked they do match better...
I will overlay the tail lights between the all-red anzo or the smoked anzo...
Opinions? Pics?

Pictures of the tail lights in direct sunlight. Kind of a medium tint but it's what I was going for, especially since cops in California are really touchy about tint and blacked out tail lights.
Technically these ARE illegal in California (like everything else), but as long as there is somewhat of a hint of the red reflector and the turn signal is visible from 200 feet away (day and night) it shouldn't be any problem. This is what my brother-in-law told me and he's a cop.

Flea, that looks gorgeous!!
That is exactly what I had in mind for my setup, and it looks so sick now that I've seen it on yours. Of course, if everyone says anything to me about it, I'll say that my 26yo senior in Mission Viejo gave me the idea and give him all the credit . However, I too am scared of being pulled over - maybe i'll take mine to a lighter tint just to play it safe (I live in Alameda, CA and there are cops on every corner it seems like).
I tried to DIY overlays on my tc, and it was not fun at all. After spending one hour on one tail, it was not layering on evenly, so I just tore it off . If I had a shop do it, how much should I pay for it?

I'll post up more pics later on that I took today, not the best quality (pictures) but I'll redo it on Thursday.

FLEA, if you lived on the east coast I'd be paying you to do my tail lights. You do an amazing job and I want to get mine done but I havent seen anyone make them look that amazing over here. Usually they just get some overlays.
