Ok, finally dropped! Thanks to my friend Mike who works at Toyota for doing this for me at the tune of 35~ish$ which included misc parts for his broken gas powered RC, and a delivered McD's #9 while he was working on this.
Took him about 5 hours, but 1-1.5 of that was waiting for another tech who was on the clock to use the spring compressor as mike wasn't on the clock for this :D
anyway, here are before and after pics, measured from all sides for you guys, resized and ready for SL as well.
The before shots as you're all used to seeing of my tC, but for the sake of completeness of this post, here they are for anyone looking for H-Techs lowered on an otherwise stock tC.
Love that curb rash! It's my first car and I wasn't the best driver, nor was I used to this car after driving my mom's Lexus GX470 for 8 months before getting this. New wheels and tires ordered and should be here beginning of next month though :D
And my personal favorite :D The after shots! WOOT!
Rides really well, better than stock IMO, and takes corners better and has less body roll, stiffer handling, just really nice.
Some people don't think H-Techs are low enough, I disagree, I think it's perfect for 18's when mine come in because I don't like tucking and don't want to risk rubbing, plus I live in Bellevue, WA/Seattle, WA, and our terrain is a bit on the hilly side, just a bit
Thanks for looking!
