tint your TBL and i think it will tie the whole back of the car together. are those the release series TYCs? the turn signal is red....i thought only the RS's had that and the regular ones had orange turn signals.

Yeah, they are the RS3 TYC's with the red turn signals... uber rare from what I've manged to find... took a long time to find them in the classifieds.

 

Sciontistical_One, did you paint wheels yourself or you had it done by the shop? I painted mine same way only it's original silver and black , took me 2 days. Looks fresh.

 

Great job on the stockies, I'm in the process of doing mine gold but never thought of adding the black, nice touch!

Painted them myself, actually I have to admit that I got the idea from your great pics on this thread a while back... I just decided to give it a little twist by going gold on black.

It took me the better part of a three day weekend, probably because of the gold. I put a lot of time into the prep, and as you know, the masking takes a lot of time.

 

You guys forgive me for being a pic-*****, I just spent a while getting these in order and don't want to lose it....Current to Stock

Sanded, adhesion promoter, then painted with VHT black caliper paint first, then taped it up and painted with VHT orange...it wasn't very hard, just time consuming
