Thanks much
The red lugs grew on me. When I get my new wheels i'm getting some new red lugs. Maybe Rays. These are az-sun-faded to a pinkish in the light and it's pretty annoying. When I got them they were a nice deep anodized red. Good thing they were only $30

looks good RCZ, ive been wanting to go back to 17's for more comfort but dont know yet? i might try to find a set of stockers to roll around with to see if i remember how it felt with a thicker tire on?

The 40 series on an 18 compared to a 45 on a 17 isn't too much difference.
I had the RS1 enkei's before these and I just didn't like having 18's. I like my car much better with the 17's and a 45 sidewall. Smidge more comfort, but more importantly lighter wheel options & lighter tire options.
Plus to me they look more business whereas 18s with a small sidewall tire look a little more "purty"

still look clean, i currently have cash for coilovers right now, not wheels so dont know which one to choose. i want to go back to 17s but havent seen much that i like that look good without lip kits?

I'd go with coilovers. It's not like you're rolling on Drags, Konigs, or Rotas, so your wheels don't need replacing yet. IMO, 17's are generally lighter and the smaller size improves gas mileage. Plus, I think they're more comfortable. How wheels look without lip kits all depends on the offset and design of a wheel.

tru, and i actually like the enkei's i have right now. nothing wrong but i feel like they're heavy when driving/turning (they are). ive wanted something smaller and lighter. Only think, is if i go with the RPF1's, i would want them in 18s. maybe 17x8 +35, i dont know how it would look but depends on the wheel and tires i go with? I just need money. Not easy saving for another apt or home right now. hopefully if i land this new job ill be able to expand my options on wheels and get some sets to choose from?

I actually think the lip kit makes the car look a little bigger, so bigger wheels fit. But to me you can't beat the look and proportional-correctness (WOOT) of a 17 on the tc.
IMO if your car is low enough right now and not rolling rockcrawler style, i'd go with new wheels. I want coils too, but i'm already low and dropping it another inch isn't going to make the drastic difference a sick set of baller wheels will.
Yanki, dodaddy has 18" RPF1's on his tc. They look great, but when really studying his pics the wheels look a little too big for me.
17x8 is the cats ****. Buy them custom in 17x8 +35 in SBC, and put up some pics so I can make sure they look good. :D
