The Takeda SRI. Had a few issues with fitment but overall not too bad. No CEL yet.

 

yea im over the cel stage, i cant wait to get that damn header off, its a rasp trap and cel all day long.

 

I like how that SRI sits. I finally decided to make my Injen CAI to and SRI and it rubs on the fender and is getting thrashed. Anyone else have that happen?

 

Yeah the heat shield and way it sat was a big factor when I was buying. I had the Tenzo CAI in SRI mode and it would also rub the fender. I pushed the filter further back onto the pipe kida over the little lip to fix this issue.

The only issue I had with this intake, and why I think so many people who buy it throw a CEL light, is that the 45 degree hose from the throttle body to intake pipe is 2.75" to 3", while its supposed to be 2.5" to 3", so it leaves a gap when you tighten the hose clamp. I've ordered a 2.5" to 3" 45 elbow coupler and will install that one for better fitment. I'm pretty sure that's why everyone with the Takeda throws a CEL.

 

is the intake pipe the same size as oem where the maf sensor is?.. because if its not thats another reason it will throw a cel.. and you fuel trim will most likley be all messed up.

 

Yeah where the MAF goes the piping shrinks. It looks 2.5 but it may be 2.75, ill check tomorrow.

Are those blue bat's redout overlays? I am finding out orange looks good on flint mica! I am going to be in a huge dilemma when I pick out new wheels.

Innnnn. Just got this 06 tc, used to own a fm 05 as well, but sold it.

Anyways, yes its 4x4 and on steelies cause the stocker's are getting painted bronze.
