This is about the 5th time ive heard about this.. This is not good at all.. As for the Warrenty it should cover it, that is if they dont try to say you broke it etc etc...

Yah know. I haven't had any problems with my sun roof. Whistles? please elaborate. What speeds, sun roof closed I hope or else there shouldn't be a complaint. If there is something wrong with the roof I am not aware of, i wanna know.

Mines is good, but if anything goes wrong it is covered by manufactuing defect, unless a bird hit it.

if you do a search on the sunroof whistling you'll find what i'm talking about. but basically, when the roof is fully closed, at any speed above about 30mph a loud whistling noise can be heard.. some have said that messing around with the weather stripping helped.. however on mine, it appears as if the glass is not going fully down about a milimeter-- just enough to cause the whistling noise, but no leaks-- yet.

i think due to the size of the glass it causes some problems. i love how it looks covering door to door. seems like isolated cases to me. hope mine is ok though

I took my tC out for a drive with the radio off, I did notice a faint wind noise wich i came to the conclusion it is just the wind passing over the seems of the roof of the car. Turning on the radio and turning the volume up to 8 canceld out the noise, No whistling though.

hmmm....this relates to something that i was going to start a topic about...whenever i got up a ramp or over speed bumps i can hear a "pop" sound from my roof...does anybody else hear this? well its kind of mix between a pop and crackling...but nothing is broken up there and i am positive its coming from the roof...as for the whistling noise, i haven't heard it yet and i've had my car since october.

There is a TSB out for that... a loose screw under part of the window track i believe. That may contribute to the breaking glass i am thinking as well.

They actually agreed to fix it under warranty? I would of thought they would try to find some lame excuse to blame you for breaking it. Thats why I avoid bringing anything in for warranty. Too stressful.

Today I think I heard that. It was only for a few minutes though. It went away, but If I go to my Scion dealership and tell them I sometimes hear a noise from the roof, will they still fix it?
