They actually agreed to fix it under warranty? I would of thought they would try to find some lame excuse to blame you for breaking it. Thats why I avoid bringing anything in for warranty. Too stressful.
not to stressfull i have under 400 miles on the car plus i know how to get stuff done if they dont want to play ball, you grab your warrenty info and tell them to show you where it doesnt cover glass, which it doesnt, than procede to ask for the dealerships owners contact info, that usally scares them , and of corse the bbb and attorny general work as well.

Today I think I heard that. It was only for a few minutes though. It went away, but If I go to my Scion dealership and tell them I sometimes hear a noise from the roof, will they still fix it?
Some will want to reproduce it. But if you tell them there is a poping type of noise coming from it, they may. It takes tightening one screw in the track. But I have heard that you need an angled screwdriver to get to it the right way (dont have the issue on mine). so they may check seeing it is an easy thing to fix. And they probably have the manufacture date range for the TSB, so they could tell if yours falls in there. I would at least let them know about it.

the whistling was coming from the weather stripping at the top of the windshield.. back when the car first was out dealerships were re-gluing that down.. and other's were re-aligning the wind deflector.. the popping was also coming from the tsb's mentioned screws.. one other person had the headliner (screws on the other side holding the sunshades) needed tightening.. or replacement i forgot... hope that helps..
