Default Front Tires Rubbing...

Let me start off by saying I am lowered on raceland coilovers. Every time i hit a small bump in the road my tire rubs on this bolt that holds the bumper in place:

Does anyone else have this problem, and if so, how did you fix it?

yes all the time. Also that front bumper lip on mine is shaved down from the tire rubbing on it. What I did was just hammer it upward.

Does that make the bumper more difficult to remove?

Oh okay. I think I'm going to try to grind off a little of the metal to make it less protruding.

I HATE that mounting point, but only the front left for some reason. Both the front and rear bumper to fender mounts give me the most trouble when I have tried to fit tires, even after several hits with my grinder.

Mine is the left one too! I'm going to bend it this morning, I can't take it anymore!

For some reason even after I bend it out a ton, it goes back in. That one side is so annoying especially since the passenger side didnt need any rolling. I thought my car was just messed up cause the left fender is almost half an inch inwards compared to my right fender. Is yours like this too?

Mine isn't an inch, but there is a difference... i would guess about 1/4" to 1/2"

Just solved my issue! The metal fender tab ended up cutting my tire a little bit so I figured I need to move that out of the way. So I removed the bolt, took off the corner of the bumper, bended the tab up then re-secured the bumper using a zip-tie. Just tested it and it works!

Mine was doing the same, but the whole fender guard was getting torn, had to raise the coilovers.
