GPS Tracking, Alarm or Bluetooth?? Help Please
Ok I recently won a GPS tracking system for my tc in a raffle me happy, But there temporally out of stock and its on backorder.
The guy I talked to said that he can give me a Alarm...I'm not sure what’s it called....but way better then stock or a wireless Bluetooth installed.
I dont talk much on the phone....especially driving. The GPS tracking is basically like lojack, but that’s just it. It will just be Gps with the stock alarm...and I'd have to wait like i think to the middle of January then set an appointment with them to get it install
So I'm asking for the SL Peps to help me decide...

The only bad thing with MOST GPS trackers is you have to pay a monthly fee.
That's what discouraged me from getting a lo-jack. Talk to the guy and see if there is a monthly fee. If there is, go with the alarm.

I'd go for the alarm, GPS, don't agree with the monthly fee, and as far as the bluetooth, there's a lot of new cd decks (like the pioneer) that you can upgrade to that came out with a built in bluetooth, which I think that's a lot better.

go with the alarm.
as long as you dont loose your keys, no one can steal your car. your key is programmed to start only your car and you have a better chance of winning the lottery 5 times in a row then to steal your car without the key. unless of course they have a tow truck... which is rarely the case.
with the money you will save on the gps membership you can buy a 30-50 dollar bluetooth headset that works just fine. ive been using mine for like 2 years now.
any idea what alarm they will give you? obviously, when you find out, research it and if it isnt a good one, see if you can pay a little and upgrade. if you drive an automatic, maybe a remote starter.

GPS tracking without monthly fee, but i doubt it exist.. But GPS tracking might also reduce your insurance rates depends so with the alarm, but you got to know what kind of alarm better not be a crappy one. And yeah alarm can be turned off when theives gets into the car, gps cant unless they will find it
