Tryin' to get them rings in the picture, goofin' it at the same time.
My STaSIS StreetSports are still sitting in my garage. I need to find the time to put them on, cause the car's still rollin' in Baja mode.

MAKE sure it sees snow and once you get a permanent CEL, you have a true Audi.

I didn't know the 1.8T had so many problems. I'm actually disappointed, I thought it was bulletproof.
Only issues that have been reported on the 2.0T so far are coilpacks failing, diverter valve tearing, and PCV valve failing. All fairly mild problems with warrantied fixes.
But I did forget about the camshaft lobe wear issue... yeah. That's a very bad one. But it's a fairly small spread problem. The fuel pump is ran off the crankshaft, and the lobe that pushes the pump wears abnormally fast, causing the car to go into limp mode from low fuel pressure. Audi's fix? New engine.

I've read that some 2.0t owners are already swapping out the stock fuel pump for an APR to pickup the lacking midrange/low fuel pressure also but who knows. I can see that DV tearing faster if you're chipped but some owners have tested OEM vs. a forged DV and come up with different results every time whether it's on audiworld or vwvortex. The 2.0t was redesigned thoroughly imo and thats why the engine is still winning awards even with little issues it holds.
