has anyone slept in the tc with the back seats down?
I am going camping this weekend and me and the lady wanted to try and sleep in the tc. I know it can be done but i dont know how comfortable it would be. has anyone done this? im thinking about just taking a tent instead but sleeping in the tc with the moonroof sounds better to me.

yea take the head rest off the front seats and move them all the way forward and back rest all the way down. then set the rear seats back as far as you can.
i was at a drive in movie and was sittin back chilling like that. it wasnt bad you just have to tuck the seatbelt clips down the seat cracks in the rear and its not bad.
the xA and xB seats are much more comfortable. tC has harder padding on the seats

I did it, got to a camping trip at 4am, didn't want to set up the tent.
Was comfortable, until the next morning....got damn hot in there and I couldn't open a window because there were too many mosquitoes out.

It's not camping if you sleep in the car.
Besides, think of how much more comfortable (and fun) it would be to zip together two sleeping bags for yourself and your girl and sleep in a tent -- or even under the stars if the weather's good and there aren't too many critters around. (Chances are she'd think that was more romantic than sleeping in the car too, and chicks are all about that romantic stuff. You have to use the psychology to your advantage!)

i sleep in the car with two front seat folded back and the back seat reclined back a little, but since it has its up and downs on the front two seats i took couple pillows and two sleeping bags and pads, and it was hella comfy.

ahh the good old "breakin in" the car...haha. Your chioce really. I would prefer the sleeping bags over the car. The tC is more of the relaxin spot. But hey, either way youll be pitching a tent.

ive done it quite a few times. i find it very comfortable but there is one thing you gotta do in order for it to be comfortable. the rear seat back only reclines to like a 45 angle and it forms this valley where the seatback and seat meets. so what i do is put a couple pillows in that valley so its more of a gradual transition from the seat to the seatback. ive slept in my car many many times this summer and its much better than sleeping in a tent.

i've gotten a little intoxicated and slept in my car like that a few times instead of driving home. Well, only twice in the last year, but it wasn't so bad. One time i was too lazy and i just slept in the front seat with it reclined and it was just fine.
