I had an 02 Celica with a TRD wing that did the same thing in cold weather so it isnt a tC only problem.

You guys know how expensive those fricking struts are? A buddy of mine needs new ones on his Celica and the dealership is asking for $260 each. LOL!!!

yuup! I was expecting it as well, but not this early on. My car is 3 months old, but it has gone down to 40 degrees here. Didnt have the hatch come back down but it struggles to go up on its own.
