Default heat and a/c always on?

Ok just got me my new azure pearl tc, so my heat was on OFF, but when i am driving, i feel the heat coming in, when i stop there is no heat. So i put it on the cold side, when i drive again i feel cold air this time, when i stop, nothing? so my question to all you people with great taste in cars is, it is supposed to do this? is it some feature? like getting heat from the engine and air from the outside or something lol thanks

yep. just chose recirc and it will stop as long as the fan is off. It is by default in the fresh air mode, so air vents in as you drive.

you see the "A/C" button, hit the one above it and the light should turn on, when the light is on no more air comming through the vents only when you turn the A/C ON, when the light is off, air will come through. thats all you need to know!

The bottom button on the left, has a pic of a car with an arrow on it. All cars have it, it is just in a different spot on each car.

Normally, your heat/ac is pulling vent air from the outside. If you leave it in this mode, even with the fan off, air will force its way through the vents with it set that way. If you press it so it lights up, it will be in recirc mode, so it only pulls cabin air in and recirculates it. This shuts off the vents to the outside world. If you are behind slow traffic and smelling exhaust, this will also keep your ac or heat from pulling that smell into the car.

If it is cold and you have the fan running, you wont want it in that mode for too long, since it will tend to make the inside of the windows fog more. That is why it has both modes.

Not if you hit the recirc button and turn off the fan

also, if you dont mind having the little bit of air moving through the cabin, but dont want to feel it put it on defrost, you'll never feel it and it'll keep your qindows from fogging to a certain extent.
