Help with buying headlights for 2010 tC
I just bought a 2010 scion tC and was interested in different headlights, however it's difficult because not much is out yet for the 2010's. I don't know much about cars so I've had to learn everything on my own (not many of my friends are into modifications either). I was interested in possibly HID's (not sure about the law--dont want to be illegal so I'm okay with halogens) but I like that bright white look and I also was looking into possibly halos (do you guys think halos on tcs look good or stupid??). Can anyone recommend sites which have headlights for 2010's or just advice on what kind of headlights to get? I don't want anything illegal, TOO bright, and not sure if the headlight set up is the same for all the years, or if I would be fine with getting some made for 09's. Basically, any advice on this would help because I'm totally lost

just don't buy any crappy headlights of ebay or other non-oem headlights, they are all garbage that fog up, have crappy LED's that burn out in a week and awful cutoffs.
any headlights for the tc will fit all years. the 05-07 were regulare reflective housing halogen headlights that used 9006 low beam bulbs, and 08 and newer use a projector housing for the low beam that uses h11 bulbs. you could for instance put older style headlights on, you just have to change the light bulb harness to a 9006 plug to make it work with the bult.

ok i get it...dont buy from ebay...but then again a lot of regular sites use ebay to sell things and part companies online aren't necessarily better just because they aren't on ebay, etc. but yea i'll be selling a lot of my stock parts soon when i start replacing them...all i know now are the headlights (when i decide which other ones to get) and my grilles. i'll contact anyone interested or just start a new post in classifieds when i get everything done. any other recommended websites for headlights feel free to let me know

alot of parts websites infact sell the same junk that is on ebay and vice versa. but the point remains, they are still junk. but either keep the stock headlights, or do a retrofit, but don't buy an aftermarket headlights from ebay or web vender, because they are really all just garbage built in china with pitiful quality. just take a close look if you see them on other scions in parking lots or at car shows.

your stock headlights are probably the best ones you're gonna find out there..
i understand the desire to change things.. but for this, trust me when i say your headlights are perfectly fine
if anything, add some HIDs.. they wont be too bad in the projector housing... but other than that.. i wouldn't change much anything else.
