Default HELP! Glow Sticks are Bad News!

HELP! My friend hung a glow stick from my rear view mirrors last night and it exploded in the heat during the night. Now I have glow stick fluid all over my car it won't come off
I've tried Clorox wipes, Lysol, 4 in 1 Cleaner and nothing is taking it off. It melted the painted on the stock dash kit. Any ideas?!

Or any one know where I can find a stock replacement! Its on my Door Sill also.

its not toxic but i dont advise to injest it at all.

is it sticky? I'd call the manufacturer of the product or e-mail them and ask them what you can use to clean it with.

Its not sticky at all its dried I'm going to call the manufacturer in the morning and see what they say, my family owns a carwash so I'm gonna see if anything their will take it off but I'm not sure I heard good be gone I'm scared to tried anything though
that is going to damage the paint. I'm probably going to get hated on but at this point my car is a lease so the parts have to be replaced, anybody know where I can get new dash pieces if it comes to that I just got my tC and I'm like a lost puppy use to have a Jeep.

Try some dish soap diluted in water. Supposedly the glow stick fluid is oil based and you would need something that is designed to break down oil. GL.

I already said it doesn't glow!!! it just like like someone spilled red Gatorade all over my car, which is what I thought it originally was because one of my friends ( the same person that left the glow stick in my car) had a little much of to drink and had a Gatorade and was acting like a complete ___ in the car.

i know i am sorry, this is just one of the funniest things i have read on SL, next to the one about the hit and run with a horse and buggie.

Goo Gone may work and it wont damage paint.

hahaha that is hilarious! I think you might be able to get it off with some isopropyl rubbing alcohol. Try heating it up with a blow dryer first and then use the alcohol and don't worry, rubbing alcohol is safe on paint/plastic; however, I wouldn't go with anything stronger than that.

P.S. You might have to put some elbow grease behind it.

You need new friends. Try grease lighting.

If all else fails, open up your car as a fun house and charge people to walk through.
