Actually you guys are wrong.
Trucks have a cutoff and the aiming gets a significantly drop than your normal sedan or family car. That is due to the fact the car is taller. However, this blinding light was seen 200 FT AWAY. An HID bulb which optics is by far different than your normal halogen optics cannot be handled by a simple halogen reflector.
Light bounces in an uneven pattern and you add that the intensity of an HID bulb which is double, you get a horrendous cutoff
