Default Hid relay question

I decided to get a set of hids but dont feel comfortable unless I get a relay, are they all universal? I don't see any that are really specific to any car or kit?

will I have to remove my bumper to install these? I keep seeing things where you have to remove your bumper to get the damn headlight out, and if thats the case then I will have to forget these.

relay is universal. all HID kits are universal, the only difference are the bulb sizes. you dont have to remove the bumper to install the HID kit. to get the head lamps themselves out, you do have to remove the bumper but since you're just installing lights, you dont have to take the head lamps out. just pop out the stock bulbs, pop in the HID ones and you're set!

I'm runnin hids on my rs2 and I have no problems. I didnt use the relay and there isn't any issues, no flickering or anything.. kits are as easy as 1 2 3.lol the hardest part is finding a spot for that huge ballast.lol

Relay's aren't always needed.

P.s. there is a HUGE thread all about this and any other HID question you may have located in the Aero and Exterior section. That and if you SEARCHED, would have found your answer a long time ago.

I've used DDM kits in 2 cars over the course of about 3.5 years, no relay, no problems.
