Default How do you powerslide the tC?

I just put a sway bar in my tC and I'm just wondering if power sliding a tC is hard. I've been looking at videos on youtube of people doing it, so it's possible.

I've read that you can just turn into the corner hard and lose traction, or you can actually use the handbrake to lose traction. Which way is better?

X2 ^^^

oh..and BTW... that was just a "slide" on a wet street... Drifting takes skill that comes with a lot of practice, broken parts, cars, and sometimes people... and professional drifters to the average person look like they are out of control...but in reality are very controlled maneuvers.

Go around the corner quick and pull the e-brake, not too hard!!! Its only impressive if you don't almost hit the curb!

^^ actually.... yes you can... but for one thing, it is more difficult to drift a fwd car... if it's not strengthened in the right areas you'll most likely break s*** and/or simply wreck the car if a noob doesn't know what they're doing. You can initiate a drift on a fwd & rwd car in much the same way... it's just much more difficult to maintain/continue an actual drift with a fwd car, but I've seen it done.
but... IMHO, it's just not worth trashing your car or possibly getting yourself or someone else hurt in the process.

what your talking about the japan fwd drift? Its lame. I believe drifting is the ability to control your car at an angle. This thread needs to be locked.
