-just got my S/C today, holly ____ the box is huge!-

-but yeah i say keep it, S/c are rare and few.

there is a guy on the forums that is making custom shafts with upgraded bearings, he goes by the name of gompka i think. he has his own site.

www.tcsuperchargers.com

-he's been developing to keep the S/C more reliable. you could go that route? i might go this way too once the stock shaft and bearing go out on mine =\

Well to make it mroe reliable, I would need to rebuild the S/C, and possibly the motor (since my last motor blew, and I didn't even modify the S/C at that point)

wow u blew the motor? was it even related to the S/C, crap makes me scared to even put the one I just bought on =\. but i wanted more power. Ill probably be like u maybe 2-3 years down the line, rethinking my decision.

-at least tell me it was a blast to drive!

Wasn't due to the S/C, one of the bearings on the rod spun. I love the S/C (ask anyone that knows me lol) but blowing the motor made me rethink the tC all together after it happened, yet I still enjoy my car.

I say after for 2 reasons. 1) Better gas milage w/o supercharger. 2) You will need to break in properly for extended life of the s/c, not recommended for a trip to vegas lol

peace, im out for the nite (or morning)
