scions are pure pricing i think, so they can't really rip you off that badly... but i got mine for 18,xxx out the door with no options. had to wait 3 months for my bsp though...

yeah, that actually seems like a pretty good deal. mine was $18,135 out the door with the only option being wheel and tire protection for about $500. that's an '05 as well, so it didn't have the steering wheel controls, extra airbags, aux input, etc. that come standard on the new models.

you are not going to be able to haggle the price down a single penny. Scions' are pure priced. If the dealer sells you a car for less than they are supposed to, then they have to sell every scion on their lot for the same price they sold it to you; not to mention they can lose their license to sell scions.

Exactly what TheQuietThings said, since the car is pure priced you will start with the same base price and the dealer charges the same pure pricing when you buy and have them install the parts. The only cheaper way is to buy the car, then buy the parts from somewhere (i.e. www.trdsparks.com they are a scion/toyota dealer and give really good prices and have great customer service, plus no tax if you aren't in their state) and then have them installed.

Good luck with your purchase though.

**As a note, I went to their website to do the build a scion portion, $19,133 before taxes based on what you want (but that does include the 600 del, proc, handling fee).

I think mine was over....24k heh. Load of options though (Ped spoiler, TRD Front Strut Bar, Scion Security, TRD Exhaust, the interior/exterior protection, extended warranty, gap coverage...)

I think after taxes and all that was factored in, it was about 24,5xx, if I remember correctly.

The body kit and spoiler yes, if it doesn't (which if you look in the performance section there are a few items that don't factor labor in) it will say so...but for those two it does factor in the labor cost as well.

They are standard now (if talking about the side curtain airbags), but I don't believe they were standard on earlier models, tc4italy's is a 2006 and I don't believe they came with them (I think it might be something they added to the 2008 model if I am correct).

Build the car on Scion.com. The price you see, is the price you'll pay. [/thread]

Mine was $18,853 total out the door. Options included in that price were floor mats, Sirius radio and TRD springs with installation.

what the hell. I think I overpaid then. My tC total is $23-24K. '07, automatic, only added mats, although I do have the extended 7 year warranty, plus finance charges.

Maybe your apr is really high? Still seems a bit on the high side...what is your tax % there? I got a bunch of extra stuff + financing at a 7.99 apr, only like 24-25k out the door.
