Default How much do you pay for insurance a month for your tC?

I'd like to get an idea of how much insurance will cost for the tC. Since it is under the sports car category, I hope insurance won't be too crazy. I want to know if I can afford it. So how much do you guys pay per month and what insurance company are you with?

Good lord. I have a Matrix XRS 6-speed, which also falls into the sports car class through my insurance company, a few tickets, and no discount for safety (tc should get one with side air bags - if you got them - the knee airbag, and alarm system) and I pay aroud $54 a month. And that is with $0 deductables on comp, collision, and liablilty - I have to have full coverage since its a lease. You guys are gettin screwed...

I recently looked into insurance from my state farm since i'm planning on ordering my car sometime this month...they said for the 06' it would cost me about $169 or so, but then again i'm also under my parentals...lol and thats under the coverage for 300k -i guess it also depends on credit/history...

For 2 cars (06 tC, 03 Corolla) with $100 deductible on both, I pay $630 every 6 months. I love my insurance company.

I hope your parents aren't paying that. You might want to re-evaluate your financial priorities.

im 19, Utah
full coverage i pay $180.00 a month

5 speeding tickets
95mph
92mph
85mph
those are in 65mph zones.
76 in a 50mph
60 in a 40mph (Escalade Rental...hehe, that was fun; things got some power)

1 total (my fault) insurence paid out 11,000.

so yeah, persoanlly i dont think $180 a month for a 06 tC is that bad. its actually 2 points lower than my 05 Dodge Neon, my neon was like a 17 and the tC is a 15 they said. interesting...i didnt get that really, but in ways it makes sense.
