Yeah, I had that before I had the car. Unfortunately, all the accessory instructions aren't included, but I've been collecting those pdfs too.

I dont know if blue leds come in different shades. My blue cathodes are very blue, and very bright though.

I know this is an older thread but I want to know if anyone else has installed the sills. I just received them in the mail from McGeorges. I want to put them on but the instructions say to use some 3M cleaner. A friend of mine who is an auto guru says to use pure alcohol and he will get some from his work but it may take a couple days.
What else can be used to clean the area before applying the sills? Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

i did mine last week and just wiped it down with windex because that's what i had closest...but mine weren't particularly dirty, i'm not quite sure why it really matters what you use actually. but mine are sticking just fine

Just use household rubbing alcohol. That's what I did mine with, and that's pretty much what you use before you use some sort of adhesive on paint.

Very nice, it's good to see how they look like, especially when installed.

Hey I don't mean to pull up a thread that is this old, but it seems to be the best one I've seen...

Anyways, just got my door sills and it says in the instruction to only apply them at a temp between 60 F and 90 F..

Well being that it's winter here in PA, I won't see 60 F probably until next April or so...has anyone had any experiences installing these in cold temps?

I haven't but it's the adhesive that's the question. Do you have a garage you can use? If not and you really want to do it, you could heat up the sills and the replacement pieces with a hair dryer or something. It would soften everything up and allow the adhesive to bond, but it would get cold again pretty quick so I don't know if it would affect the long term durability. Tough call.
