You can easily tell if you have the coil-overs or the springs based on the ride height. Unless the previous owner set the coil-overs to the drop springs height... which would be a waste of 1000 bucks. Look into Raceland coilovers if money is tight. They are nice street use coil-overs for a great price. On a super-white, I'd ditch the pedestal spoiler in favor of an M3 lip spoiler and get some clean 5 spoke wheels for it. I got a retired construction truck for my first car so going from Mom's lexus to a TC... you aren't off to a bad start.

Regardless of this thread being a failure.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

To tell if you have coilovers..

Just look where your "springs and struts" would be.
Right behind the wheel.

You'll be able to tell the difference.

And btw, did the dealership tell you you had coils, or specifically coil overs?

im almost positive they said coil-overs but they could have miss said or i could have miss heard, but im pretty sure they said coil-overs, and none the less, its not a huge deal for me, i only have to pay for parts, my uncle can install pretty much anything on this car. oh and im looking to get some 5 spoke black wheels, where might i find some?? and whats a good brand, they need to look nice, but they dont have to be like "all that" ya know??

listening to the dealership and believing they sold you coil-overs on the car so they can squeeze more money and rip you off..

vs.. actually knowing you have them and paid for them..

are two totally different things.

LOL at the mirror turn signals which come from factory and the bodykit when it's the ground effects kit. how sure are you that you DO have a trd rear sway bar since the dealer told you that you had coilovers and your not sure if they ARE coilovers or trd springs.

it looks like you have these: http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=1339
and most definately not these: http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=1619
there you go,

also theres no way you have the coil overs lol. get in between the wheels and take a picture.

the dealership probably told you that you had TRD Coils meaning springs, not coil overs.

Your problem is in bold.

Just relax man, no one here is trying to e-thug you. It's very obvious you know next to nothing about your car or cars in general so when you post things like what was put in bold we laugh. Most people on here know everything about the tc and cars in general.

My suggestion is to research everything about your new car; this site is great for that. Read all the stickies. Google coilovers/swaybars/anything else you're unsure about.

You have a STOCK tc and that's cool, you'd like to mod it and that's cool too. RESEARCH everything you'd like to modify. PM people on here and ask for help. Everyone here is usually willing to help, and moderators ack and yellowxhoodie are very knowledgeable and helpful.

this thread is pointless.

Just relax dude, ScionLife has alot of really good information, its pretty much your one stop shop for scion info. MOST of the people on here are just trying to help, so no need to call everybody fat rich people, although there are a few bad apples, but hey nobodies perfect, especially online forums.

Seriously, guy. Don't get all offended. Telling us off isn't going to get you any real help here. I suggest searching for the parts that you think you have to confirm what you actually have, or take useful pictures of the parts.

You're uninformed, that's okay, you're new here, but realize that most of us are here to help.
