i just got t-boned
so this morning on the way to work i was t boned by a mini van. just about a week after getting my new rims but on. the car is still driveable but it looks like crap. heres a few pics of the aftermath and a slightly more pleasant picture of the passengers side with my new 18'' konig hotswaps with carbon fiber inserts wrapped with toyo proxies
o yea... i already have tein s techs that i was planning on putting on but those plans are now on hold for a little while due to obvious reasons

Glad to hear you're ok. Looks like maybe they hit you at a bit of an angle, not a complete "T", is that right? How fast were they going? Looks like it was either fairly low speed, or our tCs are really good for side impacts...I'm guessing it's the former.

Oof, that is a bad place to get hit.
My (Progressive) estimate:
4-5 hrs repair on door (skin and shell) w/ partial refinish - shop would want more
replace quarter panel plus sheet metal pull
looks like the rocker cover will need a couple hours
a few hours for the wheelwell area / inner quarter
and if your rim took an impact - new wheel, 4-wheel alignment.
My really quick estimate on Mitchell's has it at $2605 - but more realistically, you won't get it back for less than $3000 and about 12 days worth of work.
Hope the rental doesn't suck.

it was almost a direct t bone. i saw the guy not stopping so i tried to speed up as much as possible to avoid it. the other vehicle was a mini van traveling at about 50 miles per hour. i got really lucky... also it appered from the brief look i took under the car that the frame was slightly bent. so i dont know whats going to happen with it. im getting it apprased today after i leave the doctors for neck pains...

well sorry to hear but that incident with your car but i had the same thing happen to me. mine was still drive able but with a mean t-bone hit it looked nasty. well in the end i was able to repair it asap. take a look. but try to get the body shop to install ur lowering kit. it would be better for u to just have it installed n fix when u get the car out the body shop. but thats my opinion. well heres how it turn out on mine. n this was getting out of work for me.

yea even with the possible frame damage the car is still driveable... ugly, but driveable. and with the exception of the alighnment being off the car seems to be fine handling and saftey wise. and im sure the shop will do the springs, it might just cost me a couple extra bones. turns out my neck is fine as well, just some minor whip lash which is to be expected from such an event.

Your neck is not fine.........I am not saying to say anything that is not true but if you were standing in a parking lot and someone hit you with a car at say 15 mph........do you think you would be uninjured..........if so what makes you think just because you are in a car and were hit at 50 taht you are fine just because the impact was not instant to you...........I won a court case based onthat...........and that alone and god thing too as to this day I have back issues............

I am in Chiropractic school and I would suggest going to see a Chiropractor ASAP. Just because you don't have any pain now you will down the road if you don't get it looked at.
Sucks about the car! If I were you I would tell them they just bought a car because it will never be the same.

yeah i would go and still get treatment for it...i was in an accident last may and im STILL feeling the effects from it. my back muscles still spasm from it. i get headaches almost every day...and my right arm goes numb. among other things... dont take an accident in such an unserious manor. they injured you...just because your doctor said your okay, doesnt mean you totally are. yeah he saw no broken bones but thats about it...go to an orthopedic dr.
