Default i wanna get a new shift ****

sup-

so the stock shift **** on the tC feels like a big eraser... i'm looking into getting an aftermarket one that's more comfortable, but not the OBX type from Scion. Has anyone purchased anything like this?

http://www.cardomain.com/item/RAZRA42

for those that have replaced their shift *****, did you have to do anything to your boot to make it fit, or does it usually screw down far enough so that it's not an issue?

RAZO is a good brand of shift *****. I'm actually looking to buy a RA98. The thing with them, though, is that they use plastic sleeves. That's how they get the universal fit. You screw the plastic sleeve onto the shifter rod, then slide the shift **** on top. That RA42 would accent the tC's interior nicely...

I have that same **** in gunmetal in my MX-3. It's really nice, but does get very hot or very cold depending on the weather. Also, put some Loctite on the screw that holds the plastic sleeve in so it won't loosen up.

I might go with a leather **** with stainless accents in the tC. The all metal ***** are a little too racey for my little luxomobile . (And I was looking at pedal covers and surprisingly, I think I like the OBX ones the best.)

My MOMO shifter is amazing. It required quite a bit of tweaking for the install though.

I can link you to a pic of the **** but I guess you're wanting to see it in the car.

I could possibly take a picture of it, I have a camera, but I have never had to post a pic on here before so I have no hosting capablities.

It does look quite nice though.

Doesn't anybody like the OBX stuff? I'm debating getting one right now--I want something that will screw on without any fuss. My only concern is how hot the metal will get. Still. brushed aluminium will accent the interior nicely.

I kinda like the TRD leather one that looks just like stock, but it has this stupid TRD logo on the side... Probably it won't be too noticable.
