those are nice, until you drive it. the damn spare tire surrounding plastic cuts down your rear-ward vision BADLY. maybe 6-7" of vision out the rear. I drove an "iron-man" edition reccaro leather, all the do-dads, told them i didn't want it, cause i couldn't see to back it up. Wonder why they only made them for 3 years.. Still a few i see everyday.. nice, but a PITA to drive.

next best thing was the amigo, (soft top avail until 06) 5speed, same 6cyl as the trooper. Fun little "suv", but pretty useless, fit 4 people tightly, couldn't tow anything bigger than a wagon, fun the fun factor was way up there when the top was down, and it wasn't in the shop.

Ever since I trail tested the new FJs ( LINK ) I've been on a truck kick. So...

New - a hooked up FJ Cruiser

Old - FJ40 or an early to mid 80's Range rover or Defender 90 or 110 pick up config. ...or anything old with style pref a very capable truck.

I've already had more than my share of old sports and lux cars and sweet bikes. Everything from a 69 Polara to a 575whp 76 Stingray to a 10.28 sec 81 Pro Street Monte Carlo. ...its time for a truck, a big truck.

That's an opinion you really could've kept to yourself. I don't think it was asked for.

yah, but mazda 3 and mazda speed 3 aren't the same car. Mazda speed3 is Ford focus euro-spec and I love my rally cars so I had to add it to the list.
(evo doesn't make the list.. too much computer.)

whats wrong with mazda 3? I felt like it was same thing as tC with much much better suspension but uglier body.
If I had the extra grand or two, I think I would of gone with the mazda 3, simply because same amount of power+much better suspension = fun fun fun.

Well, I live in MI with sh1tty winters. I would love to have an extra cab Tacoma 4X4 with the TRD Offroad package. If I could do that, then I could lower the tC as much as I want to.
