It's for your girl, you want her to have a reliable decently priced car?

How about a new Toyota carolla or Honda civic. Can't go wrong wither either of those two choices.

I think about what I would purchase if something happened to my car, and to be honest I really don't know. There are very few cars in the 20-30k range that don't look horrible, come in 2 doors, and sport a real manual gearbox. My list looks something like this:

Subaru Impreza WRX (possibly STI at the right price).
Hyundai Genesis Coupe 4cyl Turbo
Nissan 370z
Infiniti G37 Coupe

I've had my eye on an Audi S5 coupe for a while. But now we're talking 50-60k, which is kind of ridiculous for transportation IMO.

If I was looking for fuel economy, I'd probably get a Fiat 500, Toyota Yaris, Scion iQ (no stick-shift, ____ you toyota), or a hybrid Civic.

yea thats why im having such a hard time giving her recommendations. She actually likes the fiat (mostly due to Jlo driving it around) but when i look at the price for what it is im kinda leaning towards no. plus its brand new

i would prob get a genesis too if i was in the market for a car right now. Though i hear they still have kinks to work out

and for the people recommending the Mazda i still have that on the list. They arent bad im just not crazy about how they look (smiley face)

thanks for the recommendations guys keep em coming

Actually I'm pretty much in the same boat as you in trying to find a good car, reasonable price for a female. I'm taking almost every car into consideration and find myself leaning toward a 2012 TC.
