Default im an idiot

i was powershifting (idiot) and when i shifted it every time the RPM's would die then go back to normal. after a week of doing so, i realized that it's the fuel cut-off. i was revving it too high (big idiot).

im not worried about the warranty. i can take a crap on the exhaust manifold and my warranty will be voided.

From what I found after a quick search of SL, 7100 RPM's will not immediately destroy the 2AZ, but can't be good for it either.

You shouldnt powershift anyway because synchroniser damage could occur to the transmission. For your cars sake, please stop powershifting through the gears. It may be OK in a race car, but not in a street car.

I'd have to concur, not the brightest crayon in the crayola box; tC =/=Race car so powershifting probably not the brightest idea

Lets not pile on too much, powershifting a nearly stock tC isnt all that bright, but I have seen and heard much worse than that.

yeah, most important thing silverstreaktc is have your Tc's engine completely diagnosed and inspected (by Toyota if possible) for any major damage. good luck!
