it looks a bit like the light output is a tad less, but with a whiter light.

i dont care, i dont need a ton of light output. just curious.

was there any difficulties in the install?

Easy as replacing the headlight bulbs. Some people might have a problem reaching the fog lights - if they have them - but I didnt. Took less than 10 minutes.
