Default Jasper Ash's Scion tC | New wheels! 3SDM goodness!

My pics and progression. Enjoy.

02/2010 | Lowered it.
Bought Racelands, but didn't quite understand coilovers and bought something else. Dropped the car on my 2nd set of suspension, Tein S-Techs with Tokico shocks.

04/2010 | New Wheels
Picked up a new set of RPF-1's in a classic 17x8 +35. Ran stock tires. Very exciting time for me as this was the first set of wheels I had ever purchased.

09/2010 | Lower.
I wanted to go lower so I picked up some used TRD coilovers.

10/2010 | Fart Cannon.
The rice in me came out and I picked up a Tanabe Medallion exhaust. I really like the look and sound of this exhaust. Couldn't have picked a better one.

10/2010 - Nothing new, but some good shots of the car.

3/2011 | Custom SBC RPF-1's and a OEM Front Lip
Jumped in on the Dezod group buy for some "custom" RPF-1's and added an OEM front lip.

6/2011 | A little bit lower.
Swapped out suspension again for a set of Rokkor Tunning coilovers. I wanted try modding them a bit just to gain another 1/2" or so of drop.

9/2011 | First tC on Rotiform NUE?

Thanks, guys!

^^ I didn't use a tripod, but I did set the camera on a ledge and used the 10 second timer - so it amounts to the same thing. No way is my hand that steady. Only number 5 and 6 were by hand.

You're right, a D40. I use many different ISO settings because I'm not really good with settings yet, so I just played around. The first and last were auto (no flash) for sure.

Thanks for the thumbs up on the car too!

nice pics...a circular polarizer would get rid of all the glare from the lights. Some fill flash would would help highlight some of the dark spots on the car too.

Nice. Can you suggest a good brand? I don't know all that much about lenses and whatnot just yet.

Hoya is really good. Tiffen is much cheaper and they make decent other filters but not sure about their polarizers. You want to make sure to get a glass filter though!

hoya and tiffen are def best, but not worth spending so much on a filter. i bought zeikos filters UV, Polarizer and CPL. i paid 18 bucks for it on ebay.

^ I'm going to check those out.

Can anyone suggest any 17x7 wheels that will look good on my car as-is? I'm just about ready to buy, but I cant decide. I'm currently stuck between Enkei EKM3, most likely in hyper silver, and the machined face Tenzo Type-M. I want a lower offset though!

I would disagree....the more expensive filters a lot better.

^ You get what you pay for. But I think that eBay filter would do. I don't shoot often enough just yet.

I don't usually scrape. But sometimes. Obviously.. I'm only S-techs w/tokicos. But I'm excited about my new drop. I'd appreciate it if you didn't play that card in here. If you don't approve, thats too bad. In no way does it mean I have to be on the ground to rock that sticker. I know some of you guys are really hardcore about being flush, and tucked, and anyone who's not isn't on your level... but not in here.

But on that note... find me a nice sticker that reads "Low" and I'll gladly change it. LOL. *searching*
