yeah, i flattened them as much as i could. and you can still see the waves on em. i was thinking of using bondo, but figured it would crack everytime i would rub. so might as well get brand new fenders and start over.

jasper, yeah im painting them myself. im using the same paint as i did when i painted my sideskirts. its a pretty close match. you can even see the flakes in them too. i got my paint from automotivetouchup.com

yeah, i get the 12oz rattle can. its a pretty damn close color match. i should do a closeup shot. this photo shows the skirt that i rattled. you can hardly tell its rattled.

me and my buddies from Team Nuisance held a meet last night in Gardena. pretty good turnout i'd say. someone got a pretty sick shot of my car.

dang, i havnt updated this in a long time. i showed my car at Motion Auto Show last week at the Long Beach Convention. these are some pics from a couple well known blogs

then a couple days after that, me and a friend painted my fenders

Name: IMG_0787.jpg
Views: 56
Size: 95.6 KB

first, we wetsanded the fenders down with 600 grit. then a couple coats of primer, then wetsand with 1000 grit, then a few coats of base. the base i used was just the 12oz rattle can from automotivetouchup.com. i used one can for each fender. then i wetsanded with 1000 grit. then clear coated it with duplicolor clear coat. i let it sit for a couple days for the clear coat to cure, then i wetsanded with 1000 grit, then bumped it up to 2000 grit. then finally buffed, waxed, and polish them. they turned up pretty good IMO.

dang, i havnt been on my thread in a long time. well, i hvant really done much to my car. the other week, i got pulled over for "being too low". the officer gave me a fix-it ticket for the ride height, but he gave me a state ref for my exhaust. $500 just that that BS. so i raised the car, removed all my exhaust/intake systems, got it on a dyno, passed with flying colors, paid off the ticket. and now im back to normal. haha. but im selling my exhaust and midpipe. i kinda like how my car is super quiet now. haha. so keep a look out for those parts.

btw, i went to autocon this past weekend in arcadia. it was really fun. i didnt get to see that many tCs there though. but heres a video my homie took of me and my team washing cars before the show.

Just don't use the brush and you'll be fine. I wash my WRX at those all the time. I just stay away from the brush lol Fun video btw!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with those car washes. Just something hipsters say. It's just the big brush that's a little sketchy.

Cool video, Jeremy. Car looks great.
