They want $20 more than Touge. Maybe they'll price match. I'll send them an email.

These wheels just keep getting more interesting. I cleaned the other 3 just a few minutes ago only to find out that each sticker says something different. But after measuring them I found out they're all the same width. Offset is still unknown.

Only one of mine is faded significantly, but I can tell the specs are different on each sticker. I'm guessing the faces/lips are from one set of wheels and the barrels are from 4 different original setups.

Ive used this to find the offset of some wheels before....

http://www.ehow.com/how_5021837_calc...el-offset.html

1 Determine the wheel backspace measurement. This is done by laying the wheel face down so the back is facing up towards you. Lay your ruler across the inboard flange. Take the measuring tape and measure the distance from the rule to the hub mounting pad in inches. Your result is the wheel backspace.

2 Measure the width of the rim. Do this by measuring from the outboard flange to the inboard flange. Write your answer down in inches.

3 Calculate the center line of the wheel. This is accomplished by taking the width of rim and dividing the number by two. For example if your total rim width was six inches, the center line will be three inches.

4 Subtract the center line from the backspace to find the offset. If the center line was three inches and the backspace was two inches the offset would be negative one inch.

5 Use your answer to determine of the offset is positive or negative. If you your center line is greater than your backspace you will have a negative offset. If the center line is less than your backspace you will have a positive offset

The previous owner said the offset is +38. They are all the same width, that much I know.

I forgot to add that your answer will be in inches, so youll have to take the answer you get and multiply it by 25.4 to get it to millimeters.

I measured the width. They're indeed 8.5" all around. I couldn't remember the steps so I'll do the offset later.

One down 3 to go...

They're getting stripped on Saturday. I'll start on the polishing process for the lips on Sunday. I still haven't decided if I'm going to restore the centers back silver or polish them as well.

I'm following these how-to guides for RS. I figure it couldn't be too much different.

Small update...

I dropped the faces and lips off to my homie to get stripped. I was having major issues getting the base coat off since it's a true automotive base. He's also going to polish the lips for me. I decided to paint the faces for now. Still deciding on a color. The barrels still need to be cleaned so I'll be doing that while I'm waiting to get the faces/lips back.

Time constraints. Being in class all day I just don't feel like working on them when I get home which leaves just the weekend. I want them on before the 16th of next month and as long as it was taking to do one of the lips, I knew I wouldn't have time with only 3 weekends until then.

Also, I'm thinking of going with a 25mm adapter. Only 9mm more poke than my old setup so I figured I'd give it a shot. I hope the 215/40s will be enough stretch.
