Just Got tC RS, now with more pictures (56k beware)
Hi. I just picked up my new tC on Sat. April 9 and I'm loving it. It's all stock except for the Release Series package and an automatic.
Edit, April 11:
I took a dozen more photos today. I think that should do it
My favorite pic:
Like I said, so far I'm really happy with it. The dealership experience was fairly smooth. The sales guy was Roberto C. He wasn't particularly enthusiastic and tended to mumble sometimes, though I suppose it could've been worse.
I was examining the tires and I noticed that they are Yokohamas AVS decibel dB 225/40ZR18's. I could've sworn I saw something different on Scion's gallery and decided to check. It turns out I'm supposed to have the Pirellis...
From what I have read on the internet, the Yokohamas are certainly very nice tires. However, they still aren't the ones that were spec'd for the EMX package (which is included with the RS). A comparion at tirerack.com shows a set of my 4 Yokohamas to be $72 cheaper than the Pzeroes. Is this just a cheap ploy by the dealer to make more money? Have the EMX package specifications recently changed? Has anyone else had this happen to them?
I have tentative plans to go back to the dealership on Tuesday or Wednesday to get amber illumination installed. Roberto is going to be there. Should I ask him what's up, or am I overreacting?
Thanks for your input.
Edit: I've decided I'm fine with the tires I have.

Stop drop and roll...that's one spicy meatball!
I have the yokos and have no problems with them. As far as I've read they are actually better than the PZeros, which kinda blow.
Don't go to the dealer for illumination/install, I smasha you knuckles! Seriously though, www.randode.com for all your lighting needs. They're brighter, and cheaper. Simple enough for even a caveman to install.
Sorry to all the cavemen and italians out there, I'm condescending...

Thanks for all the compliments. Hopefully I'll be able to post up some more pictures tomorrow (it's getting dark now).
As for DIY illumination, I know the $250 is a bit of a rip-off for the dealer to charge. However, I'm not one to pluck apart my car's electronics (I wish I had that skill), and it's not really even my car to mod. This may make me sound like a spoiled lil' brat, but my parents got the tC for me as my first car. I contributed about $1.8k of horded birthday and Christmas money.
We've already paid the $250; we signed all the papers away on the night of Fri, April 8 and left it there so they could have the stock stereo installed. We picked it up the following morning.
There was a possibility that they could have installed the lights with the stereo, but they were out of stock. Roberto told us that the order should arrive Tuesday.
I'm glad you're liking the pictures, though. More to come (hopefully).
P.S.
In response to an earlier post, my tC is lucky number 474.

Congratulations on the new tC. It looks amazing! Nothing better than the feeling of having your own new car!
The rims are the only thing that are bothering me, but it's not a bad way to start I guess.
Good luck #474!

It does look good, "real" pictures show it off better than the ones on scion's site.
Besides the high stance, and the red in the seats, these pics have changed my opinion on it.
Now, lowered, with a CF hood, this thing will be sweet.
