Default Just installed a handsfree cellphone kit today

i just installed a handsfree cellphone kit today for my tc. i got really tired of saying hold on while i shift. it really gets old and annoying. it looks pretty good, of course it has the bracket for the kit to mount on but it looks as good as possible. you can get the bracket from panavise.com. let me know if you would like to see some pics of the installed product.

Bluetooth is awesome. The fm modulators work quite horribly from what I've heard. We sell them at work and everyone we sell gets returned.

Bluetooth is awesome. I got the v710 phone and the motorolla hs810 headset. The fm modulators work quite horribly from what I've heard. We sell them at work and everyone we sell gets returned.

I got the same setup, works beautifully. Plus the 710 matches the interior of the tC...

I think you'll find a bluetooth headset to be cheaper than the auto option without ruining the fun in driving

Anyway, what I'm wanting to know is: why buy a bluetooth handsfree thing for you car? Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just buy a bluetooth earpiece and use that?

If you dont have blue tooth there is a wireless handsfree that places offer aswell a product called a Navigator from CCM, Its a all in one Charger, Hands Free Speaker Phone, Cell Phone Holder Sometimes has a FM tuner built into it. It plugs into the CIG lighter no need for mounting etc. This is what I use being I have a i860.

The car kit as opposed to a headset makes sense only when can be integrated with the car audio. On some cars a cellphone kit, either wired or bluetooth, can MUTE the radio on incoming call and then play audio via car's audio. I am not sure (DOUBT) that it can be done with tC's PIONEER so IMHO the headset, either wired or bluetooth, makes MORE sense.........
