I'm debting on what color would be good top secret gold or lambo orange any ideas?

 

How about posting some samples? I don't know how the secret gold looks like.

Yes, orange has been done with a 2 tone paint job with black as the other color. MoSpeed I think is his name or something like that.

 

not to mention the top secret gold is every expensive $469 a quart and i need 3 quarts for my car

 

Top Secret Gold is much darker. And two-tone isn't full on orange, so technically, Orange hasn't been done yet .

 

I'm sure someone has done it.

First off you can't do Top Secret Gold since they wont send you the paint because you aren't a JDMtastic car.

Second, be original. My car is as close as I could get to top secret gold and orange is all over. It's not like we won't run into eachother at shows so why spend the money to just do something that's been done. Orange has also been a popular color that you will run into alot. There is a guy around these parts that I have seen with an orange car.

In the end it's your call. Do what you want. Just doing something new will get you more attention than doing something close to what's already out there.

Northeast wise... i would do Yellow, Green, Burple, maybe a flat color like flat blue, flat black...

^^ not for nothing but I did run into you at a show already at e-town last year and i tried a couple of times to get close to the top secret color and now I do have the chance to get that color. thats why I'm debating between these colors. only reason I don't go with the yellow green purple or blue is only because we are a racing team that tries to stand out and make all the cars different colors. and make a come back you can say. since we have been out of to show look for a few years already

 

Do a custom orange, and make it as bright as possible. Then name it "OMGLOL ORANGE!"

 

I don't mean to sound like a dick when I say this, but since it's a competition and you are about standing out, doing something someone has done is not a good idea specially when I have built a reputation in these parts as the gold tC.

If you can get the color and want to do it go ahead. I just think it wouldn't be the best idea. If you want you and your team to stand out... I would do something new, unique, and original. In the end, it comes down to how you feel.
