If it looks loose, it is either a bad job or a tuck n roll

^ Is that a katskin leather? Do they do the panels or did you do this all yourself? I'm thinking of getting a Black suede with white leather. Do you think this would look good? How much did you pay for the WHOLE package + Install?

It is Katzkin.

Installation of course, will vary... depending on who does this for you.

I dunno how white leather and black suede would look... might be to garish. I would lighten the black to a lighter color, maybe the dark taupe and go with a warmer/softer light leather. An offwhite or ecru.

Is your tC white?

Personally.. I think white leather is for belts and ladies purses.

About the panels... I think they do it now

My Page
What Company did you use, that leather looks nicer than stock Toyota leather, and reminds me of highend BMW Leather, with your suede inserts, and about how much was your leather with installation. Thanks, nicest looking tC interior so far, very sporty and classy

Damn that's nice! I wanted leather on my tC, but the first few pictures I saw of aftermarket leather didn't look so good. After seeing your interior, I have to get it.

Oooh, the suede is sharp. Debated it, but worried about long term wear. Might have to go for it on my next car if I get aftermarket leather.

Any of you with Katzkin leather have pictures of the backs of the rear seats? The reason I ask is I have a customer that wants black leather installed in her car, but because we have had past bad experience with the backs of the xB Katzkin kits I am a little weary of getting the Katzkin for this tC.

Oh, and does the Katzkin leather kit come with leather for the door pannels and the center consol arm rest?

different strokes, they say
And ballistic Nylon cloth to boot! I was doing some painting over the weekend, and made the stupid mistake of putting a hand I thought was clean on my driver's seat.

All the paint wiped right off...

the Katzkin tC leather looks GREAT all around.
Door Inserts... MAYBE
Armrest... I believe so.

Cost... Privledged info.

The UltraSuede is HIGH Quality Faux Suede.. Real Suede would not hold up to the abuses given to a vehicle seat!

I recommend the Katzkin. It really makes the car look and feel more expensive than it is.

Actually, that reminds me a lot of what higher end Audi offers (like the Audi S4's recaros), which has leather and alcantara leather (similar texture with suede, but much more expensive and more luxurious), sometimes in 2 tone

I was a man desperate to get leather seats in my old teg... and everytime i hit a show i really closely inspected all the cars with aftermarket leather interiors to find that most did not hold up well with time... but i've always heard good things about katzskins.

I think i'd be really picky about what kind of material and who does the interior of my ride...

Oh and i believe alcantera is a type of suede.

yep.

I'm not sponsored by Katzkin but I think their work is A+
At least in my ride

I considered contrasting stitching but find that it would not flow with the future of my tC.

Looks nice tho!

So how come everyone is so tight lipped about how much it costs for the leather and installation?

Sure it looks good, but I look at the bill first.
