Is it just me, or is the paint a bit off on the kit vs the rest of the car.

 

^ I think it depends on the picture. Some of them look like it's a bit off, but others it looks fine

Can't really complain either, didn't pay 4 figures for whole thing so you get what you pay for. The body kit is slightly lighter if you look up close and in other angles of shots. Good eye tho!

 

its probably just cause the car would be a little bit oxidized by now. when toyota repainted my spoiler and hatch handle thing, they used to correct color, but the repainted parts where brighter then the rest.

I've always wanted the kaminari kit it looks clean with it in my opinion. Where are you located at? I see anaheim and stuff. I live in whittier and work in Irvine. You should go to a shoot that Tom11x is having in huntington on the 14th of this month.

 

Thanks Tito, ya I mentioned it in another thread, but I thought I saw you a couple times around Cerritos near the LBS Credit Union. Unless that's someone else's tC with shark fins. I used to live around Anaheim Hills, but now I live right near the block in Anaheim. Irvine is like my "kick it" city. My girl goes to school up there so I'm always up and down the 5 freeway.

I'm down for a shoot, but I don't really know Tom personally I don't know how these shoots or meets thing goes anyhow since I'm fairly new to this site.

5/4/11 Update!!!

So for the last couple of weeks that I haven't been on, I've been contemplating on how low I was on TRD springs. I was kinda low due to the fact I have a body kit, but not clean enough... So my girl generously got me some coilovers (no I didn't beg) and she got her some S-techs.




After I put these suckers on, my girl was able to drive, but I was not. So I was Alexxis-less for about 2 weeks because of a very bad camber that swayed me to the right upon straightening the wheel.

So then I went to City Tire Service in Downey and I got myself an alignment. Thanx Mike





When she's lifted at the front (I wish she was this low...)



As of now she sits like this:





I've seen people use keys, packs of gum, phones, fingers, so I'm using my Littman Stethoscope! (not a good comparison, but its 2.75 inches off the ground just to let you know)



And I get a good centimeter clearance going up my apartment garage complex's speedbumps - perfect!

Thanx MrHat! to be honest I haven't seen another FM Kaminari Car out here in Cali... (waiting to be shown up...) but I don't mind if someone else is out there rocking the same one either. All cars look the same somehow ;p

Ya Walter, it was nice seeing you too. I gotta say, it was a pretty successful meet. I got a guy who wants to do a swap with me already. He's in Texas, but it'll be for another month and a half =( i hope he pulls through. If not, you got dibs on the back for sure.

You missed out Hector, twas some nice cars out there. Pretty friendly crowd too. I'm gonna try going for a staggered look. When I become stock, I'm keeping the hood, dropping the front like 2in. off the ground, get new wheels, then on my way to looking hella flush. Are you still selling it? My buddy who wanted a tC ended up getting a 2001 GTi haha

 

I bet I did miss out Fred, I wish I could have gone to chill with u and the rest of the guys but I went out of town on Friday and i wont b back home till this friday coming up, plus when i get back i have to take my car to the dealership and see if they can replace my left passenger wheel bearing under warranty cause its f'd up, seen a couple pixs of the meet on the Internet and I seen your car too!, seemed like a nice turn out and as of now my car is still up for sale but ima keep it till someone takes it of my hands
