So I finally got word from GEICO that my car is in fact totaled. GEICO is going to give me $14,700 for the car. Not bad for an 05 with 50K miles. I am going to have the car towed to my house so I can get all of the aftermarket stuff off of it.

Now the hard part begins... what to replace it with. At first I was thinking maybe an STI or G37 but now I am seriously considering getting a newer tC. If I get the tC than I will be able to get a new Tundra when I get back from Iraq. Plus I already have a lot of parts for a tC lol.

 

MS3. G37 would be rough considering you have a family right? STI wouldn't be bad, but those are mad uncomfortable.

 

G37 ftw. If my car ever gets totaled Im going with a 37.

 

sorry to hear that man. but, all three options sound good to me. i love the g37 sti's and tcs and as far as trucks go the tundras are definately a favorite of mine. ill give my vote to the g37 though

 

idk will thats tough, def dont go with another tC tho, you'll be a lot happier with something nicer, you deserve it. the STI is smooth. im goin to the dealer thursday or friday to take a look at the new WRX so maybe ill see you on naisoc

I have a son which is the main drawback of the G37. I would have plenty of room with the STI, 4 doors FTW. I have wanted a truck for a while though and the only way I could afford to get one would be to get the tC. I don't want the truck to be my only mode of transportation!

 

i say get an sti. i've driven about 7 of em already all with different types of suspension, i think their more comfortable than the tc. if i didnt have my gti right now i'd get a sti.

 

i'd get a tacoma x-runner with a trd supercharger.

Will.........I have to say after test driving the new 09 STI I must say.......screw the Nissan.......STI.....STI..........dude it is a monster and already has many upgrades on the market for it.......suspension,.......turbos.....God yes bigger turbos.......brakes.........interior.........Man if I could do it right now I would drive a STI........only 4 door on the market I woul drive short of the Speed 3.

 

and look at it in Red.......the Red one is hot.

definately man, i just got off the phone with both my buddy at the dealer so i might go Thrusday instead. and then i called Geoff at Nurspec and he gave me the good news that JIC already has Coil overs and a Titanium exhaust out for it that takes off more then half of the weight of the stock exhaust! so i might be able to get you a pre JIC and a post JIC

The practicality of having a coup and a truck is great, although it would be hard to pass up an sti.
