Lip spoiler grommets - anyone?
Sup-
I'm trying to install the OEM lip spoiler today, but noticed that it didn't come with grommets or nuts!! (damn you, toyotaparts4u) . Does anyone know the measurements for either, and if they can be easily obtained (say, at a Home Depot?) can't do the project without these little prats... any help would be appreciated!

Hmm.. yea, it should come with the installation kit. But I actually bought the template separately, which means if i want the original parts i'll have to buy another kit. screw it, time for a Home Depot run.

if you do get any parts from home depot or any other hardware store....MAKE SURE you get stainless steel hardware. You dont want to have some cheap zinc coated bolts rusting through and then eating out your paint underneath that nice lip.

Hey if you haven't installed it yet you kind of need these special snap conncetors for the two little plastic tabs coming off the bottom corners of the spoiler. You also need the mounting kit to line up everything. You have to drill 4 holes, two small ones for the center bolts and two huge ___ holes about 1 3\8". The big holes get these special connectors that snap into the trunk lid. When you mount the spoiler and push down on it, the tabs will pop into the connectors keeping it more secure. You could probably mount it without these connectors if you want to by grinding off the two tabs that protrude down. If you don't the tape will not make good contact with the trunk lid. The double stick tape should hopefully be strong enough to keep the sides from peeling up. But I though I read some where they were having issues with the spoiler tape coming unglued in high temp areas.
