No rattles, but I have little unexplained sounds from unknown origins. And the hatch creaks just a little when its cold out. Oh, and the car is extremely noisy when driving in rain.

my car just has a lot of road noise. i don't have a system in, but i'm thinking of doing some dynamat just to get rid of the noise at highway speeds.

Yes, the tires suck. Once these get some wear on them I'm gonna pop some Pzer Nero M+S's on instead. Much better tire at a much better price. Toyota puts these on the Eniki's, I wish they had put them on the stock 17"s as well, I think it would have made a much better stock package than the Potenzas.

i feel you on that one! my '89 stang gets me like 15mpg. roid noise on a tc? ha! you should get in my car. then on top of road noise add my two flowmasters and 600watt system, yeah, it's no surprise people don't like to get in my car.

Other than that.. no problems at all

There is no memory on the passenger side, only the drivers side. Which is why it doesnt seem to work.

I have 9500 miles, about one third in long road trips and the rest city driving. No issues at all.

I was thinking that maybe all of the people experiencing the issues should compare manufacturing dates on their tC's. If someone could compile them, you may find a correlation. It sounds like there may have been one or two production runs with issues, since there seems to be one crowd with no real issues and one crowd experiencing many issues. That info would be great to send to scion. Maybe someone has a web page that you could send the info to and collect it. Just and idea!

I get some expansion and contraction noise coming from the roof. It must be remove the extreme change of temperatures... I don't remeber hearing it during the summer. I wish the front passenger seat had memory like the driver's, and a 6th gear. Oh... and the potenzas do feel a bit shacky on wet conditions.

No REAL problems after 8 months and 9,500 miles. Some of you people need to get reasonable and stop complaining.

I agree the potenzas are lacking. But it is at least better that it is a normally renewable part I guess rather than a design flaw. I have been very happy with my tC so far. Better knock on wood I guess!

i voted on rattles, cuz my hatch is getting annoying, but i want to add the stereo in there too.......my radio is full of static, and i'm getting sick of it. i just wish i had the time to take it to the dealer. maybe on spring break....

Also keep in mind that most new car models have as many if not more complaints. The Focus had a ton of issues before it even hit the dealer lot. We all took a chance by purchasing the car right after it came out. So as long as the dealer gets it all taken care of, then it isnt so bad. I understand the frustration, but keep in mind that it is not just the tC that suffered. Other new car models go through this due to the companys releasing them asap. Some have compared them to their "old civic" which had no issues or other such vehicles. But he civic has been out for years and years, so most of the design bugs have been worked out. They change the design over time, but they are slow changes.
