LoJack..
How much is it? And could you only get it at the dealership? Or my next question would be is it more expensive at the dealership?

The prices I've seen in the Boston area from dealers are $695 for the basic tracking system, $995 for the basic tracking system plus alarm, and $995 for the basic tracking system plus early warning.
When I put in a search for dealers in the Boston area, it only brought up dealers--I really thought there were other places you could get it, but it seems like the dealers and LoJack have some sort of deal.
I was told by LoJack customer service that you could get the basic LoJack plus early warning plus an alarm for, I think $1295, but none of the dealer sheets I've seen have this option shown, so I'm not sure that's really the case.

I bought the security system similar to LoJack, but using GPS. It was a dealer install. They can instantly locate the car, its speed, alert you if the car is being moved
and has options similar to OnStar (unlook your doors, roadside assistance, navigation via cellphone etc.).

I think you can only go to dealer for LoJack. my dealer offer 700 for basic system.
Don't think it's worth the money. if my car is stolen, i rather to have insurance to pay for it than to have the car back. and my insurance only lower by 20 dollar per year. so i didn't install the LoJack.
The chance of someone break in your car and steal everything is much greater than the chance of you entire car get stolen. most thief steal car for parts, so until tC gets as popular as Civic, the chance of your car get stolen is very small.

My dealer offered the LoJack for 1/2 price at $699
I just don't think the LoJack is worth it. your car has to get stolen b 4 u know if it works.
Wouldn't a nice bright Club be a better deterrent.
