You're sure its for the first year? Understand one thing about credit card companies. There is no such thing as free money. They will find some way to screw you. Whether thats with finance charges or Universal Default.

They might market a card as 0% for the first year but in fine print it will have very strict guidelines. For instance with Universal Default. If you are late with a payment on ANYTHING. Anything at all, the company can use that as as an excuse to raise your interest rates.

If you go up to a certain percentage of your limit, they can jack up your rates.

Some companies have even been known to literally screw you out of money. Providian for example would hold a payment until it was late. Sometimes they would just shred your check and say they never got it just so they could hit you with late fees, etc.

CC companies aren't your friend and will never give you 0% interest for a year just cuz they are nice and they like you. They will market that to hook you but will throw a ton of stuff at you so you screw up and they jack up your rates.

umm...that's not the greatest idea. the value of a car is always depreciating. you're CC will always be building interest. it's better/cheaper to just have cash in hand prior to buying the stuff you want rather than buying it an paying interest. and as shadow12 said, you CC is gonna find a way to screw you over

 

Yea...I wouldnt use credit...I already spent 600 on credit for my navi head unit and I am still regretting not saving ...seems like the bill is the same everytime I get it ugh
