Curious... Missing Power Steering Tank/Coolant Tank/ABS and more on the left side...

Where'd they move it all to?

Aside from that, I love the color. The wheels go well with it. I like how he wrapped the dash though it is not a shade that goes well with it. Awesome car.
Magazines normally have a 2-3 month lead time... as in the photos were probably shot 2-3 months before the car was even published.

they yanked the power steering, ABC and A/C stuff. No idea where the coolant tank went.

Putting the 5 speed boot over the automatic shifter like that is incredibly lame.

this is one terrible tC. body kit doesnt fit, shift boot on auto, no power equip. just plain stupid. i think genes cars got crappy after the Ralph Lauren Green xB. sorry if you read this, but none can compare. the poop colored xB, and now this last one. bleh.

my fav. tC still goes to Rockblocker

I love the look of the empty engine bay... but to yank every power option and go straight engine... a little over the top... they at least should have moved it somewhere nice and made a panel or something... What's the point, other than pure show... which IMHO, is not my favorite direction for the scion After-market to go...

sorry, i dont see this being a show car...

when i think show cars, i think of SEMA, SEMA IAS, NOPI NATL'S in ATL, GA, HIN's, HID's.

This tC would never place. Any of us (tc's) could easily do this to our car, i just dont see what's so special about this one...i really dont.

It's a half-assed effort really. He obviously put a lot of work in to it, but he overlooked so many details along the way. He gets custom paint and a widebody kit, but there are awful gaps and the bumper is more warped than a cassette tape left in a car on a 100 degree day. The wide open vents on the sides of the bumper showing off the mounting holes isn't very clean looking either. I will admit the "floating engine" is cool looking, but doing it simply by pulling everything from the engine compartment seems like taking the easy way out. Like WDS said above, couldn't he made a cover or relocated them...something other than removing everything. I mean honestly, how hard is that? It's not like he's stripping all the unnecessary weight out of the car to make it go faster. No roll cage with the 4 point belts, that seems sort of half-assed too. If your going to spend that much money (which eh obviously has) go all out.

I I like the way it looks, props to Neil. I LOVED the way it looked before though, but I think it's the color. I thought the red looked sweet.

Red was nice, but it's always cool to do something different. Neil is weird like that.

I think the aim of this car was mostly in the HP. This car is pushing well over 500hp (not sure which magazine/article/forum I saw this in). That is no easy task in our tC's! Yes I agree that the the kit and the color of the car looks worse now than before, and I prefered the old color! But then again he did not become the captain of the TurtleWax team by making "half assed" cars.
