maintence recquired light
for the past week my maintence light would blink a few times after the car started. i assumed this was because i hadn't gotten my oil changed yet and i was apporaching 5,000 miles. i went ahead and got it changed the other day at 4,900 something. well today i hit the 5,000 mile mark and the maintence recquired light has been permanently on ever since i hit 5,000 miles. am i supposed to press something after the oil change, so the system knows it's had an oil change or is the light on for something else?

To reset the maintenance required light:
1. Put the odometer to the one that shows your milage (the highest number)
2. Turn off the car
3. While pressing the odometer button, turn on the car
4. You will see a few boxes or zeros (i forget which) appear and go away in like 5 seconds
5. That's all
That should do it, if not... you might want to take it in to get it looked at, it might be something else.
