Okay, lets see if I got this. Below should be some pics of the factory header beside the M2 header.

ceramic coating or jet hot. powdercoating won't hold up against the heat.
Dakine, even wiping it off after firing it up, my header has tarnished badly over the year that i've run it. it's a eyesore in my engine bay
