i don't think anyone tries to hit animals but it happens and im not about the endanger myself or anyone in my car by swerving for an animal

with that said, ive hit 2 possums one of witch was in the middle of the road and would move so i tried to go directly over it.. and it didnt work, i also hit a deer that really messed up my car, and a bat

but they weren't in the same day... so to answer your question 1

I would not submit my car to any unnecessary impacts, resulting in dings or dents.

That would be quite retarded on my part. All of those killings we on accident and unavoidable. I was just posting to see if anyone else had some bad luck like that

I live by a forrest preserve and there are deer on the side of the road just looking at you driving by, I hope one of those never feel the urge to jump out into the street when I am going by, that would really hurt me and the deer!!!

all i saw was blood and guts, last i checked they dont do dental record on roadkill

damm pidgeons on my street always wait till the last minute to fly out of the way..........i will admit i have sped up once or twice .........to teach them a lesson
